New Vex-based Expansion Pack coming in December ?!

Several months ago After The Dark Below was released . A huge DLC pack called "Comet: Plague of Darkness", was leaked and expected to drop September 2015. Soon after that we found out about House of Wolves which originally supposed to drop in March. HOW got pushed back until May then in July at E3 The Taken King was announced . Flash forward to the present all previous leaked info for dlc was correct . Maybe not for the names or dates but the info about what they would contain . So with that said it was also leaked that Late 2015 to Mid 2016 - Destiny gets another Expansion Pass which brings two more expansion packs. The first involves the Vex and includes a new raid, strikes, missions, and maps. The next expansion, the final one, Forge of Gods is expected March 2016 . FoG is still in very early production, thus we know little about it. We don't know what it deals with, though most of us are hoping that it's based on the Cabal. Keep in mind, though, that Hive and Vex have "gods", though I still doubt that this expansion would deal with either race, given that we would have two Hive expansions and two Vex raids by then. So what are looking forward to with future expansions leave your thoughts and opinions below ..

  • The cabal raid was already confirmed in a bungie interview to be ripped from destiny 1 and put into destiny 2, so no you wont see that. The comet was the original name for the taken king but its name was changed Doubt there will be any more expansions for destiny 1, just small dlc packs

  • It seems bungie may have changed tack. According to a kotaku article, they asked Activision to allow them to try something different, instead of dlc packs, they would use micro-transactions to fund free content updates until destiny 2.

  • I remember that picture. So far, it's on point, but I'm curious to see if Bungie will move away from the DLC model, with the introduction of micro transactions to support content. If they don't, I think the next will be the Vex. I think personally we'll be going to Mercury in the next raid. We did a lot in this expansion with Hive, but it was peppered with a lot of Vex quest lines, not to mention our new knowledge of Quria, Blade transformed in the Book of Sorrows, and the ever increasing presence of Osiris. Sure we have the cabal in this DLC, but I think we need to still await the arrival of the Cabal empire, they may be next.

          • They're not supposed to be doing expansions like that anymore.
