Personally I like the no elemental primarys since I would basically never had to use something like a fusion rifle or sniper to take out a shield really fast on a enemy. Plus now we have each class have their own elemental ablities that can make everything easier.

I'd say that's OK and all it doest justify then removing something that want a problem in the first place. Elements are what makes destiny different from other shooters. They motivated people to play hard raid why not just play normal and get 310 drops ?

I actually find secondary and heavy with burns to be even less useful cause they already do significantly more damage without it.
