People are vastly over playing the significance of elemental primaries to begin with. They're useless in an entire mode of the game. And in strikes and raids they're rarely useful except for the rare occasion that you encounter an enemy with a shield. And when you do it barely does anything more than just using a kinetic primary. The only place they were really useful in was Nightfalls...in that they made Nightfalls a complete joke to blow through. As usual, the Destiny playerbase is flipping their shit for no real reason.
