Yeah, it's ridiculous. I can sort of understand with armor parts. You usually only have a set or two of armor to upgrade, like I have a Seething Flames set which is all Str/Dis and a regular set that's Int/Disc. That's it. I've got over 500 armor parts.
Weapons, however, are ridiculous. Between the amount of them, the infusion cost, the upgrade cost... It's impossible to keep up. I just got a 310 Supercell and I can't upgrade it because I need to farm weapon parts yet again.
To top it off, I did three strikes and got nothing but armor engrams.

1. Buy exotics. 2. Dismantle Exotics. 3. Lose Glimmer. 4. Gain parts. 5. Watch as they patch immediately while denying their own failures thinking their doing everything right.

I thought I read somewhere that they patched that? I know that originally people were buying exotics for 1 shard and some glimmer and then breaking it down to get parts and the shard back, but I heard they no longer return the shard when broken (without upgrading first at least).
