Yeah, it's ridiculous. I can sort of understand with armor parts. You usually only have a set or two of armor to upgrade, like I have a Seething Flames set which is all Str/Dis and a regular set that's Int/Disc. That's it. I've got over 500 armor parts. Weapons, however, are ridiculous. Between the amount of them, the infusion cost, the upgrade cost... It's impossible to keep up. I just got a 310 Supercell and I can't upgrade it because I need to farm weapon parts yet again. To top it off, I did three strikes and got nothing but armor engrams.

  • I thought I read somewhere that they patched that? I know that originally people were buying exotics for 1 shard and some glimmer and then breaking it down to get parts and the shard back, but I heard they no longer return the shard when broken (without upgrading first at least).
