Ever since around the beginning of October, I've been doing strike grinds daily to try to get the exclusive gear. This does not mean that I did an individual strike over and over every time; most of the time I did the heroic playlist and did around 10-15 strikes total. Here is a list of my rewards and roughly around when I got them.
- Mark of the Undying Mind: got after 1 day of grinding. I was doing the legacy playlist.
- Grasp of Malok: I have gotten 5 of them throughout a total of 2 weeks. All of them I got doing the farming glitch with Omnigul and shadowshot. Only 2 of them were worth keeping.
- Omnigul Bond: side affect of grinding for the grasp. Got 3 of them.
- Treads Upon Stars: got it last monday from Cerberus Vae III. I was doing the heroic playlist. Bad roll, but still a good weapon.
- Mau'uals Maulers: just got them yesterday doing the heroic playlist. We killed Tlu'urn (the blue guy) last.
What I've learned from the grind:
- every playlist has the same chance of dropping an exclusive legendary, including the basic strikes themselves.
- 3 of coins does not increase the chance of these dropping (people have seriously said it does, lol)
- The buff only increases the chance of a legendary engram dropping, NOT the exclusive gear.
I think it's also worth mentioning that I had already received a lot of the exclusive armor pieces before doing this grind, but that was during the first 2 weeks of TTK when I didn't even know they existed. These include the Darkblade helm, Devouring Maw, Solar flayer mantle, and Cloak of Taniks.
