Nightfalls seem to drop them much easier. The first time I ever did Darkblade as the Nightfall I got the helmet.
Also, seems a LOT of people who did the Nightfall this week got the mantle. Everyone in my Fireteam got the Arc Flayer mantle this week (and mine was at 300!)
