Some people like having a varity of good weapons to use. I swap from using autos to pulse rifles but I do use a scout when range is needed so thats 3 different weapons for 1 slot(usually for 1 character.) That's 45 weapon parts for 1 weapon slot [b]not counting the weapon parts you need for infusion[/b]. Each infusion requires 10 parts and it usually takes 4-5 infusions to get 1 gun to a good level for end game content. Thats another 40-50 parts per gun, per slot, and per character(40-50 parts for the 4-5 infusion * 3(for 1 pulse, scout, and auto rifle) *3(1 for each character) =360-450 parts just for 9 primary weapons that are good.) Add in weapon parts for upgrades and that's another 135 parts for that 1 slot on all 3 characters. That's a total of 395-585 parts and that if [b]you don't use any exotics in that slot[/b] The adjustment for weapon parts was not needed at all and it only slows players down with grinding that shouldn't have been needed in the first place.
