Day 1 players like myself have tons of parts (over 1k on each character even after using hundred per for reputation gains), while all the newbies have 3. I could see how this would completely blow for newer players, or players who didn't realize they would need them and leveled their faction reputation into oblivion trying to get that rank 25 class item quest. Doh!

beta here. what about the reroll nonsense that sucked up all weapon parts. i never use them to level up factions. i rerolled maybe a couple dozen times and i still am in need of parts, so it has nothing to do with day 1 or not. stop being elitist.

Beta as well, not elitist. Was saying it would suck being a new player, or someone who used all their parts (doesn't matter how). Thanks for being so judgmental.

Edited by loungin brown: 10/22/2015 3:41:49 PMyou were generalizing. not all day 1 players have an abundance of parts. you're implying "do not have tons of parts" = "newb". that's incorrect and i'm just telling you how it sounded elitist.

How about I let you borrow some weapon parts? LOL (elitist comment for fun)... Really though. I can say that I didn't re-roll any other weapon more than the primary I used more than a few times before I got lucky with a good roll and moved on, so I can't feel your pain on that one. I also play a lot, which in terms means more engrams/drops, and more parts/mats. Probably why I have so many... not to mention motes of light (over 2k, and I use them often for leveling up new items if I plan on keeping them... they just drop like crazy now). The only real tip I would have beyond playing more is to always level items up before breaking them down. I do this every single time I turn in bounties, use motes to level a specific weapon/armor. Good luck out there.
