The traveler at the very least isn't objectively good. Reading about his abandonment of the fallen and then having us earthers slaughter them? That's like if the U.S. went to Papua New Guinea and took the locals under our wing, nurturing them, supporting them in every way. A rival country comes and the US just dips out, leaving them to rot. The Papua people are ripshit, a broken people they lash out at the new recipient of their former overseers glory. And the US equips and encourages the complete slaughter of its former wards? That isn't the only traveler abandonment, after the hive gain power, it ditches the race of that area as well. The traveler hops from world to world kiting genocide at every turn.
