This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

I'm about to drop below 100 parts and I'm not even a reroll fanatic, I rarely ever do it. We have a lot of gear to upgrade and infuse, this is friggin RIDUCULOUS. Take away the ability to upgrade, yeah great idea. Just sit back and let the weapon part problem take care of itself. HOW IS IT THAT OTHERS USE ALMOST NONE...? That's pretty much impossible. Fix your game, Bungie. Add a vendor to the Tower whose only job is to convert all materials, ALL MATERIALS, into useful materials that are in the present. At a fair exchange, without ripping us off. This vendor could offer weapon parts as well, for glimmer (imagine that) coins, whatever. I want to be able to trade in Etheric Light for Legendary marks, cool stuff like that. Quit using other random ass vendors for these exchanges.
