This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.
-
I've said the same thing I have not seen anyone complaining about having to many weapons parts it's just retarded the whole thing was like outta nowhere just side swiped when they did that

first world problems
-
It will backfire. Unnecessary grinding which will cause people to become bored. Surely if you want people on your side, you dont take things away that you already gave them. -blam!-ing pricks.
-
Just give us back weapon parts. It's not even gamebreaking. It barely even affects progression. GIVE US BACK WEAPON PARTS!
-
Edited by Smokey: 10/23/2015 1:22:21 AMYeah I laughed when I saw that. It reminds me of their excuse for nerfing the gally. "too many people on LFG were demanding gally to join their FT's", like that was going to make the elitists stop being elitists. End result instead of insisting on Gally's now they're insisting on certain light levels. Note to Bungie: quit screwing with stuff people aren't complaining about, it only creates more problems.
-
That was an absolute unnecessary change to the game.
-
Lack of weapon parts is a constant drag. I'm at the point where the only new weapons I want are for infusion fodder. At the very least, weapon parts should NOT be a required material for infusion.
-
Ratio of Potential Armor Mats to Weapon Mats: 2:1 Legendary and Rare Armor have similar perks such that you arent swapping much. Infusion and Leveling only done when higher light levels are found. Leveling needs fewer Mats. Armor differences inperceivable for Leg/Rare. You have 2x possible Armor (more mats). We just use very little Armor mats because there isnt great reasons to level every Armor you find. Weapons, on the other hand, all feel different and have perks that set them apart. This encourages leveling and infusion (burning mats). Since you get half as many weapons as armor and you use more Weapon Mats frequently, you will always be in short supply. If Armor had more perceivable gameplay impact, we might have Armor mats in short supply. Wea

I have almost no weapon parts. A few things I've noticed, too: - I get twice as many blue armor drops than I do weapons. And when I do get a weapon engram, it's like a 50/50 chance it'll turn into a Mote or Strange coin. - On my main characters, I almost never seen Green engrams drop. It's like once you start hitting light level 280+, greens just cease to be in my drops. This also cut my ability to stockpile weapon parts down to nothing.
-
Simple solution is to just let us swap weapon parts for Armor mats and vice versa at a 50 glimmer cost.
-
i have like 45 weapon parts left now and armour parts like 3000
