This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

More grinding means I'm playing less. No I don't want like being handed shit, but like the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it.
-
I actually agree. There was no need to change it. If people had to much, good for them, while others have to little. I myself have plenty but there are times when I would go through a lot because I had multiple weapons to upgrade at one time.
-
Really? that's horse shit. I'm day 1 year 1 and I have ALWAYS had a wep parts shortage issue. Thank god bo3 and swbf is next month.
-
I have 2. Used 900 on rep. Oh boy bad choice. It's fun trying to get the 15 or whatever just to max a weapon now lol.
-
Some people like Liver (you sick bastards), some people do not. Some people play Destiny everyday, some do not. We could do this all day and it still has no point.

I'm on my knee on weapon parts, ever since that cursed slot machine called reforge. And then, 1 month later to have all those reforge weapons worth dropper to zero. I mean we did all that for nothing.
-
Don't sell weapon parts just make rares come with 2 parts legendaries 3 or 4. 5 when upgraded. STOP ASKING BUNGIE TO SELL THINGS SOON ENOUGH WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO BUY ALL OUR MATERIALS IF YOU GUYS KEEP ASKING. THEN SOON WE'LL BE PAYING FOR LEGENDARIES AND SHIT AND IT WILL BE PAY TO WIN.
-
i have around 425. i kinda got all the reforge rolls i needed in like 5 reforges. ill show myself out.
-
I read it as "Some players play our game a lot, some don't"

Edited by Ebon Hawk AU: 10/23/2015 9:41:33 AMI need Legendary Items and Legendary Marks, I go through a lot of them, and I don’t like many of them /don’t have enough of them where apparently others are happy with what they have. That means that Bungie should adjust legendary items drop rate and marks rewards to suit my needs and not overall needs of game economy that might be based on tangible statistics... Bump until Bungie clearly gets the message...

I AGREE. The logic is just plain STUPID. if.people still have too many then they aren't using them. why punish people who actually NEED them?
-
Hell, I'd even be totally fine with spending Legendary Marks at the Gunsmith for stacks of weapon parts.
-
I got about 1400, rarely use them
-
Maybe you guys should use your parts wisely instead of infinite rolls, infusions, and selling all of them to factions. I still have about 1000 on all three classes. I guess I will make it rain with all my parts while everyone else crying about parts drowns in all of these salty tears! LET THE CRYING FEST BEGIN!!!
-
remember when upgrade nodes cost 16 parts a piece? and there were alot more nodes to upgrade too! kids these days!
-
me me me gimme gimme gimme
-
Get over it and yourself they do not ever have to let you infuse infuse infuse infuse all you want as easy or as often as you want. You were probably one of the reforgers that cried about this too....
-
How do you guys not have parts? I have like 600 left
-
I want 500-1000 weapon parts for Halloween. Then I'll shut up for the rest of the year

Edited by Tesshu_Yamaoka: 10/23/2015 8:19:29 AMSome people drink lots of water, whereas other people do not. So lets cut back on water supply. Solid logic all around.. Edit: playing/dicking around with weapons should be fun. I like to experiment with perks, because you know, fun. Bungie deliberately decreased the fun factor of this game, at least for me.

Can't agree more, I've been a Destiny addict since September of 2014, logged countless hours in this game and I have never complained on these forms. Not once. But the fact that my number one issue is not having enough weapon parts is down right pathetic. Like many others I regrettably spent countless weapon parts rerolling guns in HoW. I ran out, but before TTK dropped I was beyond stocked up. But now that all of my old weapons became obsolete, I have to upgrade new guns to either test them out or raise their light. Doesn't help that to get a gun fully upgraded you only have to dismantle some motes of light, makes it all too easy to try out a freshly earned weapon. And there are so many awesome new guns but guess what.. Can't use them. Hell after arms day next week I'll have every available exotic weapon but I still haven't had enough weapon parts to unlock the perks on the ace of spades or the titans auto rifle. This community has put up with enough of your half assed, bugged, money milking and untested content BActivision, but nerfing our ability to try the weapons you created is the dumbest thing I've seen come out of this hacked up game.
BActivision(noun)- name of a company once called Bungie that's now owned by Activision
A lot of what Bungie says in it's public statements don't make much sense to me. And often what they say doesn't end up being true. I'm not saying that they are lying. I just mean, for example, they said, and i'm paraphrasing, "they'll check the guns you have so you don't get duplicate drops." Well in my experience the vast majority of my exotics and legendary drops are duplicates. I've gotten 3 warlock arms, don't have a warlock by the way. But three crest of alpha lupis, 5 choleric dragons,4 the next big things, for jinkokubo whatever it's called. got like three vestments. i bought a suros, it dropped suros. i dropped TLW in two exotic engrams when i had it equipped. things just don't turn out to be true. And this isn't new. Parts were a problem in HOW that went ignored.
