This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

weapon parts for rep. bump
-
Currently sitting on 2300 parts. I don't get it.
-
I'm about to drop below 100 parts and I'm not even a reroll fanatic, I rarely ever do it. We have a lot of gear to upgrade and infuse, this is friggin RIDUCULOUS. Take away the ability to upgrade, yeah great idea. Just sit back and let the weapon part problem take care of itself. HOW IS IT THAT OTHERS USE ALMOST NONE...? That's pretty much impossible. Fix your game, Bungie. Add a vendor to the Tower whose only job is to convert all materials, ALL MATERIALS, into useful materials that are in the present. At a fair exchange, without ripping us off. This vendor could offer weapon parts as well, for glimmer (imagine that) coins, whatever. I want to be able to trade in Etheric Light for Legendary marks, cool stuff like that. Quit using other random ass vendors for these exchanges.

"Grind harder, guardians." Bungie
-
Damn reforging addiction from the previous expansion cleaned out my weapon parts collection but only after complaining on the previous expansion that theyre usless and now......
-
-
They should have reduced wormspore not weapon parts, I have 350 wormspore on just one character and yet I have no use for them.
-
Yep. I have weapons ready to upgrade and/or ascend but I have no weapon parts. I'm not grinding for them on top of everything else I have to grind for. So I stopped playing. Three weeks to Fallout 4.
-
I had 2k weapon parts when TTK launched.... now i have 10.... we need for there to be more weapon parts available, not less
-
Yes it's the most annoying nerf so far.
-
I'm almost out of parts because of this bs
-
They say they want us to use more than one weapon then they make it harder to do so. Way to go Bungie.
-
I really hate the parts nerf. I have several weapons waiting for parts that already have all the xp in them to max them out and I also have infusions waiting for parts so they can get infused. At no point should there have ever been a parts nerf and if they felt it was needed just give the people who have to many a way to turn them into rep.
-
The nerf didn't really bother me, until I got down to 60 parts. Now I'm getting a little scared. Dumbest nerf by far.
-
Probably have about 30 weapon parts over 3 characters. Been skint on weapon parts since HoW came out. Really starting to be a bit game breaking for me. Got so many weapons I want to level up.
-
The way I see it. Since you can't farm weapon parts, like you can farm Spinmetal or Relic Iron, then either some players at some point will be out of weapon parts, or weapon parts are completely superflous to the game. Think about it. A currency that you'll never run out of, is just meaningless.

I pooled all mine together have nearly 1000 just keep in vault and taken out on the character in playing that day same for armour mats, motes and shards inventory space runs low quite often when you get loads of runes and still have tons of old telementaries that need using and replacing for the new ones

Edited by Poignant Pacheet: 10/22/2015 12:45:58 PMBump! Even before TTK, I never had luck saving up any. I always need them. I'm pretty sure I have 8 weapon parts and 1 armor material as of right now. ._.
-
Bump!!
-
I've had max glimmer for about 2 weeks, should we reduce how much glimmer we earn?
Bungie Logic
-
Bump.
-
I'm weapon part short, would be nice to be able to convert armour materials

I've been in a drought since HoW and now I'm stuck at a solid three.
