This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.
further adjustments may be in order?
This is not a matter of if adjustments are in order, it is a matter of adjustments are needed. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.
Bump until Bungie clearly get the message.
Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

You know what'd be awesome? Imagine if every Armsday you could buy Weapon Parts in bulk from Banshee-44 for cheap. Like, maybe 50-100 for 10 Legendary Marks? The stipulation, of course, being that they're only purchasable for one day every week. That'd be an okay compromise for me.

Bungie please fix.

They want us to try new guns, I have a few I'd like to try, but over 3 days playing 3 hours a day I have gotten around 20 weapon parts. That's 1 exotic node, 1 regular mode and 6 remaining... I started Day 1 and played to before HoW. And now I'm out? How does bungee let something so trivial become a problem. How does Bungie let something so trivial be the reason I'll stop playing this game. I'm not grinding anymore. If I can't upgrade my weapons by doing strikes and such then I'll just quit playing.
-
It's another way for bungie to save server memory. That's all. Limiting items saves memory and makes our games run smoother.

Edited by W33DEDPLAGUE: 10/22/2015 11:45:31 PMI'm with you man, I'm dying to upgrade a bunch of weapons but can't get enough engrams in strikes to do it...if you can glimmer farm then you can buy and dismantle exotics for 3-4 parts a pop at 2500 glimmer...Other that man, I can't buy parts fast enough...I don't see what nerfing does other than seperatimg the the gap between hoarders and users and adding fuel to the fire by giving us the impression they are gonna be sold for silver
-
Agreed, people only have too many because they are veterans who have saved up alot over a very long period of time. And even then those people can still run out or get low.
-
Maybe kids should stop using parts for rep and leveling up pointless guns. I have thousands of parts because I only level up guns that are worth it
-
Let me buy a pack of 25 or 50 or 100 for one of many currencies we have. I would DUMP for weapons parts right now. I have stepping stone weapons ready for infusion that are clogging up my inventory bc I don't the parts for infusion and grinding 10 is like legendary mats in the exotic sword quest. Aaaaaand I can't use the weapons I want to infuse bc I can't get the level up. It's vicious.

Edited by Psychedelia: 10/22/2015 11:36:32 PMBump because who cares if you have too many? I used to have several thousand and thought.. "Why don't I use these for rep since they're not doing me any good piling up in the vault?"... Now.... Without warning, no more parts. -blam!- bungie and their "ideas"
-
Where as I play a ton, don't use that many, and always have 0. Cause -blam!-ing RNG turns all my weapon engrams into motes of light.
-

Make weapon armor parts a farmable resource like the planetary specific resources. Fits lore because in each location battles have been waged since the Collapse. This would leave a lot of decrepit weapons and armor that we should be able to salvage parts from.
-
if you start in fusing at an early light level you will burn through your parts so wait untill your like 270 or 280 to start infusing your weapon and amour
-
On my hunter I'm completely out of them. I really need more. I should just grind strikes for a bit till I have more.
-
It's a numbers thing for bungie look at the hours people are playing it the taken king's downfall time gates one day events trials and iron banner are ok 1 hole week or weekends but the are making it so you log in daily so the can brag about the number of people playing ( most likely to investors to show why the should get their money) problem is it will be the death of destiny
-
I had a lot of parts before this happened but infusing a lot of stuff and upgrades burned it up. Now I'm low on parts and have to pick and choose weapons to upgrade.

Edited by TouchGamer: 10/22/2015 11:28:05 PMI'm completely out of weapon parts(on my titan). And I don't think 2500 glimmer for 3 weapon parts is a fair trade...
