This is not a good enough reason to reduce the number of parts we get. It's like reducing worldwide food production because a few have too much food, while some are starving. Stupid.

This is not a matter of [i]if[/i] adjustments are in order, it is a matter of [b]adjustments are needed[/b]. No one thought they had too many parts and wanted to have less.

Edit: We're trending, gw people. Keep up the bumping. Make your own post on the issue. Whatever we have to do to make sure that every time a Bungie employee checks the forums, the first thing they lay their eyes on is a "weapons parts issue" post.

Explains why the LMGs are often shit if they're only made with one weapon part per gun... I imagine that if we were to actually dismantle anything as huge as the LMGs Destiny throws at us we would get way more than one of whatever the item in question was made from. Upgrading the weapon with motes, which is a waste of you're doing it for the weapon parts, only yields like one or two more weapon parts at most. [i]How[/i]?

17 RepliesSo ran the daily heroic story yesterday. Before actually getting into the mission, I did some farming right there around the Dread for some bounties. Had a bunch of engrams drop between that and the mission itself, including two legendary engrams. But there is a serious problem, as you will see in the breakdown of what I got. 4 Blue Boot Engrams 1 Blue Glove Engram 1 Blue Helmet Engram 1 Blue Class Item Engram 1 Purple Class Item Engram 1 Purple Special Weapon Engram Hey, I have no complaints about the drop rate. I mean, for an hour long of doing some bounties and the daily heroic story, it's a pretty dang good drop rate. The problem is the imbalance of armor to weapon engram drops. THIS is what I get ALL THE TIME! Grinding strikes is the same thing for me. I have upgraded and infused armor as much as I have new weapons, yet I am sitting on 300+ armor materials compared to 5 weapons parts. Fix this BUNGIE!

7 RepliesI just want to point out all the damn nerds in here bitching about having 1 billion weapon parts but now they have none are a bunch of idiots. They blew all their weapon parts on REPUTATION VENDORS! I have every raid weapon in the game maxed, 3 classes above 300 light, multiple maxed out exotics and I have GAINED weapon parts because I have not been using them to gain reputation like the rest of these crybabies who wasted 1000+ weapon parts to get dead orbit rank 3 for hung jury and are now realizing their folly.

They take away elemental primaries because it limits choice. They want you to use a variety of weapons. They cut in half the ability to try new weapons. GG Bungie. Good troll.

I've got a vault half full of only rare weapons 294 and higher, and they're just sitting there. Because I have no parts to infuse along with them. No end in sight...

29 RepliesWell, I believe that (almost mmo) game like Destiny is about GETTING and WORKING on some gear,stuff,items. You people would like to play easy mode or what? If you are short on weapon parts, means you managed your supplies very badly and now you need to work your ass and grind them. I used them smart, never had problem with any materials, got tons of weapons upgraded and I don't even play that much. It's a game, not give away contest. If Bungie would give everything out easily, game would be boring after 1 week.

It's almost like they are trying to; A) slow progression so we don't run out of stuff to do B) make us shard all our year 1 weapons that they have been desperate to wean us off some PoE. Of course they would never do such a silly and mean spirited things now would they?

Yeah it was not a good change. They've added a great variety of new weapons to try, and choking the upgrade path does nothing to help the player explore those choices.

also it depends on if you played much between yhe 8th-15th sepetmber as you probably got a couple of hundred during that time,
