Bungie: "We didn't make enough Destiny for you guys so we took some of it and spread it out over a period of time." Its one thing to come up with new content after the game has come out and then add it as you come up with it... And another thing entirely to create it all from the start but choose to release some of it later at a predetermined time. As frustrating as time releasing premade content is, it isn't as frustrating as the artificial and unnecessary wait times that millions of players have to endure. We have to wait for the next 2 Paradox daily heroic story missions to come up before we can even get the quest to get the gun? How asinine is that? Even waiting a day is annoying, but waiting potentially for weeks for the next Paradox daily story mission? That's just terrible game design. Bungie seems to be showing a consistent record of screwing up. This stuff is old news. Do some research Bungie. Other games have went through things like this and have figured out how to avoid making the fans angry.
