Great post. Excellent read. I hope Bungie is paying attention! I have so many good ideas on what to do about year 1 gear. I have posted them here time and time again and yet I'm pretty sure they fall on deaf ears. I will wait until Bungie actually owns up and asks us to come to the table before I repeat them again. But IMO, it is time for them to either accept responsibility for the kerfuffle that has been Destiny Year 1 and start making things right, or its reputation will be forever tarnished. Nobody will remember Bungie as the company that brought us Halo. They WILL remember Bungie as a second rate, cut throat also-ran gaming company, much like people now think of Blizzard.

Feel free to add the #infusionforall tag to your posts. It'll make finding them easier for some of us and potentially help get them more attention too. #bumpfortruth and #communitywishlist as well. Year 1 Gear needs to be respected and brought forward. Hell, Year 1 in general needs to be kept relevant.

I most certainly agree 100%. I had the idea that Year 1 items could be removed from the treasure table and all year 1 players who obtained such gear would then be able to obtain items in past raids, which in combination with etheric light, would make the armor/weapons infuse-ready. Of course, the difficulty of all the raids and POE would be brought to current. In addition to this, the previous raids would drop engrams for year 2 gear (to replace year 1 gear) so people are not stuck doing ONLY kings fall to reach max light level.
