Fire a Gally shot for my dog, Gali, Guardians
Gali, our family dog, passed away this evening. She was with my family through a lot of hard times. I grew up with her, and it's extremely difficult to grasp the concept that she is now gone. I still remember the nights when I'd carry her up my ladder and into my loft as a kid..
After everything we've been through, she's the first to go- and it's hard for all of us to accept that. She was 11 1/2 years old, and was barely hanging on. She had a basketball-sized tumor in her stomach and it was growing rapidly... She left us today at home, in her bed, surrounded by her loving family.
So if you have the time, take to Earth, Mars, Venus, Luna, or even The Dreadnought, and fire a Gally shot for my pup, Gali.
She was a German Shepard, and a great one. I'll be wearing the Wolfswood Bond for a long time.

[b]Update:[/b] [i]The sympathy, love, and all around compassion you Guardians have all shown today has been both heartwarming and overwhelming. It's times like this when I remember that even though we can be a rowdy community, if there's one thing we know how to do, it's help each other, to be caring, and there for each other. The fact that none of you know me, but have the hearts to sympathize with my family and I on such a deep level is incredible, and I will never be able to express in words how much I appreciate that, and how thankful I am to be a part of this gaming community. You're like a second family to me, truthfully.
Lots of kind words tonight, I'm feeling a lot better, and am going to try and get some rest for the night. Keep doing what you do best, Guardians.[/i]

I have 2 dogs of my own and nothing hurts my heart more than too see someone else loose their beloved pet. I am so sorry for your lose you had a beautiful dog sir.

I had to put my best friend down a couple years back. It still hurts when I come across her things. Only dogs and babies have the purest hearts in this world and love with everything they have unconditionally. I may be late on it but I'm transferring my Gally out of my vault after I hit post.

I'm sorry to hear about that Guardian. I can understand the pain from having to go through that. I had a dog named Lindy, she was around the same age as Gali. Lindy had arthritis in all her legs and was going blind. My dad went to the vet to put her to sleep when I was in school so I didn't have to see her.

Very sorry to hear that OP. My dogs my best friend and couldn't imagine life without him. I hope things get easier and just remember all of the great times you guys had together. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Losing a dog, for me, is just as bad as losing a person that I loved. It really hurts my heart to read this. I'm sorry. Wow, some people commenting on this are utterly ridiculous. I'd spit in these peoples faces had I the chance. Anybody who'd disrespect this post is just a low self esteem piece of shit.

1 ReplyMy thoughts and prayers are with you Jordan. Earlier this year I lost Bandit - he was a 10 yr old Lhasa Apso and died from cancer as well. People who don't have dogs don't know the part of their heart that only opens from the love of these companions. We don't have children, so our dogs are our kids, and losing one of them is as just as traumatic as losing a family member. Keep your spirits up and know that Gali will be waiting for you to once again play with her in the heavens above. God bless you and your family.

1 Replywait, you knew about the tumor's rapid expansion and made her suffer and die by it in her own bed....... im sorry for your loss man,know how it goes, but -blam!- i would of put her to sleep and not make her suffer like that, and i have 2x dogs myself
