I'm usually wavering between 303 and 302, but I had a test weapon on from the gunsmith which brought me down to 289. I think I can see where you're going with that question, and I agree. being above 300 may have an impact on whether or not you get 300+ gear

Yeah wasnt sure if it worked like the exotic engrams where you already needed to be 300 to get 300+ drops/decodes
