Had a herniated disc in my lower back, between the L4 and L5. The injury caused nerve damage in my legs that has been slowly recovering. I needed to have surgery done to correct it.

  • I hope you get better soon back problems are really going to hurt once you reach 45-50 years of age my father is an ex-army mechanic and he actually fractured a disc in his back trying to undo a bolt on his car that some f,uckwit did up with a rattlegun and these bolts you don't tighten up with a rattlegun

  • Oooohhh... Damn, that's going to keep you out of the game for quite a while longer. Something I have found to help with my injuries is a TINY bit of LIGHT Erging. (A rowing machine, not sure how many people know the term.) My mistake was taking my recovery too fast, and people kept trying to get me back into sports, and that turned out well, so I decided to go for a walk, and accidentally retore my meniscus, some a hole driver round a blind corner going about 85Km/h, so I had to dive into some bushes. Ah, that's what I get for walking on the side of the road without the sidewalk.

  • Ouch. Yeah, that wasn't a good idea. My wife is very adamant about me not overdoing things. Which is annoying cause bare in mind, I'm a big guy. I went from being like invincible to being like this. Really screws with your head. >_<

  • Yeah. I used to be able to run for about 2 km without a break, in about 3-4 mins. It sucks not being able to run. I tried biking as well. That didn't end well. I lost 15 pounds since I got my injuries. I got a lot of work to do to put on that muscle again.
