Aren't they suppose to be the "female" hive? Thinks it's in the grimoire somewhere.
Last time I checked,
Wizards: male
Witches: female
Bungie: gender confirmation problems
Forums: correct you ten times, as if you didn't read the first

Actually a warlock is a male witch..

All wizards are female and I beleive all Knights are make but not much in known about acolytes and thralls also ogres shriekers we can only make assumpsitions

The only confirmed males are Oryx and Crota iirc. Xivu Arath: the hive god in the knight form, is referred to as "Oryx's Sister" multiple times in the book of sorrows. Lending the idea that knights are still female, other than Crota at least. The book of sorrows seems to indicate that all hive are born infertile females, become fertile wizards by eating the mother jelly, and can only become male by becoming the "king" morph and breeding with the wizards. Why crota was called the "son of oryx" while remaining a knight is unkown. Though because he had many wizards under him and an entire hive faction known as "the spawn of crota". We can assume that he was at least an early version of the "king" morph and was populating the moon. Only bungie truly knows though.

I thought the male version of a witch was a warlock.

And you are correct

I beleive all wizards are female from what I remember. Where I read this I don't remember. The Knights are male. I beleive they have the option of which they become as their worms grow.
