Sunbreaker nerf: Cauterize doesn't stack upon multiple kills.
Why: due to experience and p.o.v this is hard to counter for regen can be almost instant comparing it to Defender's Unbreakable.
Nerfing the number of hammers would really hurt sunbreaker for it has a perk that allows it to last longer by throwing more hammers. Besides, it's default limit is 3-4 hammers if not using stroke the forge and conflagration.
Nerfing it's resistance is arguable but not agreeable due to consideration of other classes and their resistance. (Sunsingers, blade dancers, etc)
Nerfing it's mobility is really out of the question.
Nerfing it's range is definitely out of the question.
It's not bad if you compare it to the warlock's subclasses and Hunter's subclasses.
FYI: Titans never had a health regen perk until now, only resistance and overshield.

Besides the armor nerf, I feel like the health regime should stay for them but the perk that lets them throw more hammers should be replaced by something else, so the only way for the Titan to get more then 4 hammers is when they stand underneath the sunspot.
-
That's not gonna happen cause of two reasons. 1.) It would be unfair 2.) If they remove/replace it, they'll have to do it to the other classes.

-
Edited by Kingsleeprobert: 10/18/2015 6:16:33 AMI know but removing a class perk calls removing A class perk from the others. It wouldn't be balanced, if they other classes have all of their perks and sunbreaker doesn't.

I would agree if the hunter had a perk that give him 4 golden shots(without exotic) or if the warlock had a perk that gave him two nova bombs... But they don't! Honestly the Titan having 4 hammers is already good enough especially with their mobility. Yes they don't have the mobility of a gunslinger but they make up for it by having one extra hammer, and plus if they stand on a sunspot the get a over shield and more hammers what's not fair about that?
-
You said if and warlocks have that perk kinda which you know about I assume. Also exotics (majority of them) and some legendary offer unique perks that is near impossible to implement into other guns/armor. By limiting hammers, the new subclass would become broken for all it can do is throw 4 hammers regardless of other perks.
-
I don't see how all other supers would out class it though... They still get 4 easy kills and not to mention the explosion can easily kill two at a time by reducing the amount of hammers they get to 4 wouldn't break the sunbreaker special at all! Each special should only be able to kill 3-4 people anything more then that is just over power, only exception to this is if you run into people who stick together besides that they're should be no reason why a super should be able to kill 7 people

Edited by Kingsleeprobert: 10/18/2015 6:44:59 AMAlright. I respect your response. 4 shots on the GG, not including if they're bunched up and the GG has combustion. Nothing on nova bomb, that thing can kill a whole team regardless of size.
-
But you see good golden gun only gets 4 shots with an exotic so technically it only gets 3 shots and let's not forget when you use your special you pretty much kiss all your armor good bye, that's why I'm saying the Titan sunbreaker would still be a pretty good counter for it! They get one more throw/shot then gunslinger and not to mention they can regain health back for every kill! That Makes those two specials pretty much even right there! Also a nova bomb can be deadly is used at the right time but and this is a huge but.... (Lol) but most of the time people just use it to kill anywhere between 1-3 people it's rare when it kills more then that. Which is fine since that's how many people a super should kill

Cauterize is an active regen you get a kill with an ability and you start regen while unbreakable is passive they cant be compared. I think cauterize is ok as it gives the whole class the tools to stay in the fray for longer and be active if you are getting kills with your abilities.
-
But its by far the most ridiculous regen perk. It's like life steal, claws of ahkahamara(?), and apothesis veil in one but only for health.
-
Hunters have hungering blade, warlocks have the RAM and the solar shield. The only tweck i would do is give cauterize a cooldown time or the trigger as warlock with life steal, display a timer when cauterize is active so you cant stack it in multiple rapid kills, i doesnt matter since in rapid killing sprees you dont need regen but it will shut people saying its OP.

Exactly.
