My question is what is the difference between HoS and GG? Because gg was argued as one of the best pvp supers and many in year 1 wanted it to be looked at or nerfed soooo.....let's see.
Gg you have to hit the guy, HoS you can be near and around someone for the kill.
Gg has no armor, HoS has the most armor of any super.
Gg can't regen health on a kill, HoS can.
Gg has limited shots no matter how fast, HoS can throw as many as possible in a time frame (realistically like 6 hammers vs 3-4 shots)
Gg has a better pvp melee (if you're good), HoS has one of the best pve melees (I say best, it's mainly if you run melting point which you have no reason not to)
Gg has one good pvp grenade in the tripmine, HoS has a good pve grenade thermite and if you're good both have incendiary grenade.
Gg can't get an overshield at any point, HoS can if spec'ed correctly.
Now after all of that HoS is overpowered as -blam!-!!!!
Ok so maybe not as -blam!- but still. I just don't know how anyone can argue. In the super there is only two ways to shut it down, 1.Shadowshot (and you have to be pretty good with it) or 2.the titan totally -blam!-ing blows and you get lucky.
Now I understand you can beat a titan in HoS but you have to be really good. Personally I just run. Run for your life and stay in the air. It works, but that should not be the only answer.
Now if you've read this far then you deserve a cookie. But I can't give you a cookie so instead I will give you my answer. First and foremost the armor needs to be that of a sunsinger or bladedancer. OHK headshot. But this next part is not my idea. I do not take credit. But this is my favorite idea because it isn't just "omg sunbreaker is so op remove it from the game or make them only have one hammer and make the blast smaller and take two hammers and blah blah blah"
Remove the Titans mobility. When in HoS you lose sprint speed and double jump. However in the same perk as cauterize you add a new perk that gives you back your mobility. So now you have options, 1.you can go for being a tank. Tanks are slow but can flat out survive. Or 2.you go for mobility but you have to actually avoid fire to stay alive.
This will give us options and new builds. This could also open up the option for a true sunspot build. I think this is the most interesting idea I have heard and could be very interesting , however I don't hold my breath.

You don't main Titan. Vote bottom option and GTFO
-
That's really helpful. You are part of the problem. You can go now. Bye.
-
Part of what problem? What are you still doing in here? The post is supposed to be about what titans think of the super. I come in to find hunters and warlocks spreading their opinions that everyone already knows. there's like 50 other threads about y'all's opinions. Go there.
-
I actually play all the classes. Yes I main a hunter but I've used them all. And considering you have given no intelligent answers to the problem then you are part of it. Go away now
-
I don't see a problem. The class is weak as hell. Striker is much more useful. Outside of the 6 hammers every 4-5 minutes, it's got crap grenades/melee's. There are no perks that make the class fun to use outside of the super. Shoulder charge is more OP than the Sunbreaker. You just haven't seen it in a while since TTK came out.
-
Did you even read the post I made? Probably not. Well go back and read it. Gunslinger has terrible perks outside the super. Yet the super isn't shit compared to the sunbreaker. But seeing as you haven't even ran a hunter you wouldn't know. That's the problem. Unintelligent and uninformed people trying to give input. That's the problem you are contributing to.

Each character has 2 supers that can shut down Sunbreaker. Titan: you can use Sunbreaker, or fist of havoc. Warlock: you can use nova bomb, or lightning Hunter: shadowshot, or 50-60% of your gunslinger super. Is there any guarantee that you can shut down someone's super? No. It requires good timing and skill, with a touch of luck.
-
That's not the point I'm making. Each super takes skill to shut down. Excluding supers each super can be shut down with a headshot. Not sunbreaker. Each super can be team shot. Not sunbreaker. Each super requires timing or aim. Not sunbreaker. There is no down side. You don't have to actually hit the person, just around them. Even if you are getting team shot it takes one kill and you now have the upper hand. There is no downside. Every other super has a downside
-
The super has 6 hammers.
-
So twice that of a gg. Double the armor. Health regen. And no downside. 6 hammers is not a downside. One nova bomb is a downside. One fist of panic is a downside. 6 free kills is not. Good try though.
-
When tossing hammers, you cannot sprint. So that is just an unfair nerf to a part of the super that isn't a problem in the first place. I think a bit of an agility nerf would to well though. So instead of covering long distances with Titan skating in 5 seconds, make it take 7 (That's an example not actual numbers)
-
I understand that. But you can sprint between hammers to cover distance. Then with skating you can cover ground even more. And double jumping is how to skate. You remove those two things then you now have a health regening tank. You use the perk to let you skate, then you are a skating beast but have to actually use that mobility to dodge damage instead of being a tank.
-
Removing double jump is too much. Honestly the only issue is health in my eyes
-
I understand everyone is saying that. I'm disagreeing. Look at my points. Gg and HoS are the closest comparison and HoS wins in every single category. Just health is not enough. And I even forgot to mention the fusion grenade in pvp for HoS. You make the titan take one of two options. Cauterize for the health, or a new perk for double jump and mobility. You should not get both
