Did have sympathy for this view but after playing TTK I now Respectfully disagree.
I couldn't imagine a world without my beloved VoC and beautiful ghally before playing TTK.
Now it all makes perfect sense - I am happy they are above the fire place and I can keep my fond memories of battles and fun past.
This Guardian is creating havoc with an entirely new weapon set - the roll on my 1000 yard is godly !
I get you need to ascend your yr1 one - folks who are not playing TTK clearly want this - however as a year two Guardian - year 1 weapons are fond trophies. Glad I got em but don't wanna use 'em.

There are plenty of folks who have either played or who own TTK who still likewise agree that they need to bring all the Year 1 stuff forward, for a number of reasons.

I get and respect your experience is different - options are always good it encourages more participation. I thought you read my stuff and understand I support growing participation by providing options. Equally having chatted together in the past I thought you may be interested in my experience. You are very fast to pull a gun old mate - not everyone is out to get you - chill - old gallp would love to see all year one folk in the tower.

Not at all, bud. Was just responding to ya, is all. The part that irked me was when you said that you disagree with it. That means you're opposed to the notion. But if you understand that not everyone feels the same way and you're in favor of there being choices and such, then you don't actually disagree with it. You would be neutral in that sense, which is totally fine.

I believe that we should be given an option of year 1 or year 2. Not just have year 2 shoved down out throats and only able to really use year 2. I have TTK and while I really do like the gear it has I much preferred Crota's End raid gear. Now this is just my preference but I still believe that we should get a option. You guys want to use the new year 2 gear? Awesome, you can do that! We want to use the old year 1 gear? Awesome, we should be able to do that! It's that easy. It's not about our comfort zones, it's about what we prefer. We all love Destiny and don't need all this negativity. Just because we have different preferences doesn't mean we should be frowned upon.
