I almost exclusively play PvP and am a Sunbreaker (although I used to play Defender). There is no need for a massive nerf; the only changes needed are a one-hammer reduction (5-4 or 6-5 with Forgemaster), an increase to Super decay time (to force players to consider their environment and not be able to tank across a map), and a damage increase per-hammer (for PvE).
There is no need to lower either damage or armour, as the former would invalidate the offensive nature of the Super and the latter would ruin the idea of being a Titan. If I spec for max armour to survive ONE (considering Defender bubbles can survive two, and Strikers can survive them as well) Golden Gun shot, I sacrifice an entire stat to do so, which is fair (especially considering a high-impact sniper can still headshot a HoS).
At the same time, a slight Stormtrance duration nerf should be implemented, as well as better invisibility and movement for Bladedancers.
The Hammer of Sol should be a fast, hard Super that sacrifices hit-scanning, range and duration for damage, armour and quantity.
