With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • Lower the armor to match bladedancer (and every other super with armor) reduce the aoe a small amount lower the duration a little bit Signed - a titan since the alpha.

    • The regeneration and shield need debuffs, but not to oblivion

    • Less armor so snipers can kill us with a headshot and maybe a couple less seconds of super time.

    • Either take away a hammer or 2 or nerf the armor buff. Either way people will still complain. Then the hunters will complain about Stormtrance. Then that BUNGIE fixed the SS glitch. Until hunter are the go to class for PVP. [spoiler]I like my lemonade salty. [/spoiler]

    • Simple, take away one or two hammers, and make the blast radius unlike a rocket. I switched over to titan and I -blam!-ing agree that's its op AF and needs some tuning

    • GG and high impact snipers should one shot it. An overall reduce in armor (to something at least along the lines of bladedancer.) Nothing else.

    • I'm against nerfs for PVP reasons because I hardly ever play it. More often than not, in destiny nerf=neutering. For instance in year one they made auto rifles not worth using in the game because they were OP in PVP. As a Titan I'd like to be able to do more than just throw a bubble up and hide if I'm on my own in pve and I just don't trust bungie to not ruin the subclass if they were to nerf it. I could definitely see how a more skilled player could make hay with HOS but I personally only get like 2-3 kills at best in PVP with it. I'm bad though. If they could Change it for just PVP I wouldn't care.

      INSTEAD OF BEING ABLE TO HAVE BOTH, WE SHOULD HAVE THE OPTION FOR; PROXIMITY DETONATION [b][u]OR[/u][/b] HEALTH REGENERATION It's just far too imbalanced with both (with a slight reduction to armour) This would be a perfect solution. - 309 Titan ranked #700^ in the world for Crucible [spoiler]Adding a random spoiler to add length to my reply[/spoiler] Bump this so it stays at the top.

      • I'm sorry but nerfing hammer of sol [i][b]will not ruin PvE. [/b][/i] You're all just using that as an excuse. Nerfing arc blade didn't ruin PvE. Nerfing blink didn't ruin PvE. Nothing that got nerfed ruined PvE. PvE will always be the same shit, strike after strike, raid after raid, mission after mission. No one [i]depends[/i] on hammer of sol to do good in PvE. That's just ridiculous. Stay classy xo

          • I just think people need to stop complaining about a subclass being too powerful. There are ways to counter every single super use in the game. Learn to counter and move on. I find myself getting countered when I use the hammer constantly. I get counter supered all the time. People get up in the air and move away. Just think and re act. The issue is that when people see it, they freak the heck out. Same thing when someone sees a sunsinger or a blade dancer. They freak out and don't understand what to do and because of that they die.

          • A small visitation on the armor wouldn't be horrible and if golden guns would drop them with one shot that would balance it against other supers. Other than that, people are just being whiney.

          • Honestly everyone should look at Destinytracker's population statistics before they judge. Sunbreakers are just fine by the stats.

            • Biased poll is biased... Look at all the hunters that used to dominate crucible with 2.0+ KD's crying that they are no longer able to get 45 kill streaks using their sacred bladedancer... The only thing that needs nerfed is the MAX ORBS OF LIGHT (hint bungie) that sunbreaker can yield. If a well used sunbreaker is used, there are 4-7 ORBS generated, this causes a downward spiral, allowing other classes to utilize their super, add another 5 to 15 or a to the battlefield... GAME OVER.. The only thing that needs looked into is orbs of light in the crucible, and their affect when used in unison with other players... You guys have a brain, just use it.. you are all frustrated when a positive game gets turned on its head because of one well placed super.. and it's true that there is an exponential effect on things.. but directing your attention at a super is petty.. when further analysis and deduction would indicate a mother problem entirely

              • The more I play with HoS, the more I see people finally adjusting, which in turn means I have to be less reckless with HoS, or I won't kill anything. This is how it SHOULD be, so leave HoS alone. Also, with Unstoppable, FoH can tank a GG as well. I'm just saying

                • Nothing. The infinite hammer glitch was fixed. Each hammer throw takes a chunk of your super, and I think a lot of folks don't understand that. What sucks is when people always cry nerf to everything, then it's nerfed into oblivion for us pve players as well. Running undying mind strike with a sunbreaker? Bet you'll wish he or she had more than 3 hammers.
