Due to the shadow shot glitch trials has been cancelled for the time being, and I know a lot of people are itching for some trials action, so what I'm trying to say is what if Bungie just disable supers in trials until they fix the glitch. I think this would make trials even more competitive and it will make a lot of people satisfied.
Bump for Bungie to see and spread the word
Edit: lets get this trending before trials releases l
Edit 2: I understand that its a bit too late for me to be saying this cause there wouldn't be enough time for bungie to announce this, but might as well try
Edit 3: Even if it doesn't happen i hope bungie will implement this idea of no supers in trials so it could all be pure gun skill
Edit 4: Receiving a lot of positive feedback thx guys keep it up so Cozmo or Deej can see
Edit 5: Instead of disabling supers what if bungie can just disable quiver. I really just want to play trials tomorrow lol.
Edit 6: Were trending bois!

I would not mind if they disabled Quiver temporarily. I could manage without it

Great idea but too late am afraid, Bungie can't work this quick.

I have been saying this since trials first released. NOW, why is it fair for a titan to run around throwing 8 "golden guns" when other class supers cannot even compete. I miss MLG playlists in halo. the non competitiveness off destiny is slowly, but surely, killing the games lust and balance. Still no customs games for anyone to test this at their own will and still no TRUE competitive crucible. Hard to believe they have not implemented a true skill/rank leveling system such as the halo playlists. It was the perfect PVP solution and for them to just throw idiots in with day 1 "gods" is not fair to majority of players whatsoever.

We could just ban scrub hunters from trials but then again it would be empty as 80% are skill less easy mode scrub hunters
-
There needs to be a game type without supers
-
-
Great idea Supers are really just annoying in trials

I dont understand you people! Supers make destiny PvP different an it's own game. If you take that out just go play Bo3 or something along like that!

Did they really suspend trials because of this glitch? I hadn't heard about that. Oh well, looks like a different game for the weekend for me then.
-
Cracking idea for a temp fix or just disable the new supers. Bump

Trials should have been the one playlist that has supers disabled.
-
Yesss!!! Bungie please do this! If there's a glitch with shadow shot (supers) take them away till the patch comes for them we all guardians wanna do trials make us happy bungie

I am praying your message has been read and i wake up to the only thing i really get excited about... the lighthouse!

Edited by ILyncher: 10/16/2015 8:59:53 AMThat is such a good idea.It would make it truly down to who has the better gun skill.I love this idea. Or even if they brought this out at a later date and called the no super trials hardcore mode...so the scrubs could still play normal trials lol

This is great, although probably too little too late. Hopefully they disable supers in trials eventually, or at least have a playlist where there are none.

Edited by Ti84 plus: 10/16/2015 1:53:19 AMRestrict to year one supers. It solves the shadowshot exploit and the OP Sunbreaker super. Until fixes can be made.

Bump, I've been waiting for weeks now and assholes mess it up because they can't play the game correctly, I grow more and more irritated with bungie and this game every day... No wonder people aren't wanting to play anymore

Then what separates destiny from other games? Nothing special, you see destiny revolves around the supers as a core function, and it's not like Shaxx can take away guardians light and make them keep them from using their supers. Plus it would throw off the crucible idea as a whole. Crucible is where a guardian thrives to be the best and enhance their skill. And saying having skill without their supers is something useful it isn't. Light makes a guardian strong and powerful. Without it they are just another guy, without powers. So if you take away their super you are basically taking away their light, so how can a normal guy take on a knight in the wild without any enhanced strength?

I think their options were 1) Let trials go on and piss off everybody as their flawless trial run ends with a squad of 3 hunters abusing the hell out of the bug. 2) Try to come up with a quick code fix and do very limited testing and push it out to everybody and hope you don't bust anything else. 3) Fix the bug and do proper testing and delay trials for maybe another week. The chose option #3 and it seems like the safest bet.
