I wasn't thinking about medical weed, more medications containing canabis as an active ingredient (sativex). I know sativex does contain some thc, but not as much as Marihuana. Scientists have found that thc binds to two receptors in the brain, one for the "high" and one for "painkilling". Also, research does show an increase in psychological disease if it runs in the family. Also issues with heart/lung disease does occur. That being said, marihuana is a much Kinder drug than most, and i don't have any issues with people using it. I myself did smoke hashish for a period.
