"Oh you know, the usual, killing things." Arcturus responded.
"I was also here for a little something that the Cabal just so happened to come across."
As he said this he started walking to a crate on the far side of the room.
"Let's see here..."
Opening the crate revealed a bunch of what looked like shattered crystals.
"Huh, guess they took care of my job for me." Arcturus said amused.
"Shame, the Cryptarchs would've loved to study... whatever this is." Ghost added.
"Oh and thanks for the backup. Probably would've gotten my ass handed to me back there. What are you doing here?"

"Oh you know Just taken care of business! My business is kicking A! and Baby? business is booming! bahahaha!" Garuud laughed. "So whats up with the crystal.... pieces??" Garuud asked staring at them.

"To be honest, the Vanguard didn't really provide the specifics of [i]what[/i] exactly this was." Arcturus said admittedly. "Now that I had the chance to properly have a chance to scan this without trying to be disintegrated by Cabal, this looks like one of those crystals that we see now and again on the Dreadnought. You know, the ones with ascendant Hive souls in them." Ghost said. "Wait, so if they are supposed to hold these souls. What happens when you break it?" Arcturus said with growing suspicion. "Good question. That is also one that do not have the answer to." As Ghost finished his sentence the room fogged up and a half a dozen Blights appeared, blocking their way out. "Here we go again."

" I wonder what they taste like too. Would you break out in Hives? hahaha" Garuud said as he stepped forward and started firing into the group of taken. He then threw a incendiary grendade and took out a large portion of them. A taken thrall ran up and bit him. " Hey! No touchy feely!" Garuud yelled as he punched it and it burst into flames.

Edited by Susano'o: 10/15/2015 11:16:36 PMArcturus threw a Lightning grenade and jump above a couple of Taken Acolytes and Vandals and unleashed a torrent of lightning upon activating his Stormtrance and instantly vaporizing those beneath him and many of those around him. After the last Blight was vanquished his Stormtrance subsided and he reloaded. At that moment a rather large Blight spawned and was preparing to summon something pretty big. "Well I wonder who that would be," he said exhausted. A Shade of Oryx appeared and blasted Arcturus back. [b]Although I should kill you, I do have a modicum of respect for you. I'll let you two go, for now. Remember this mercy, for next time I will not be so forgiving. In return for freeing me from that entrapment. As a parting gift, I leave you with some... friends.[/b] The Shade gave a demented cackle as it teleporters away. "Well now we have a new problem." Ghost said. The Cabal that they had killed earlier had their Taken bodies returned ready to kill. "I thought he only could Take living things?!" "Now we have two problems." Arcturus grumbled readying his rifle.

"Oh look who thinks they are special! I can control dead things too!" Garuud yells as he picks up a dead cabal and shoves a grenade into its mouth and kicks it towards the new taken. "We are hunting that thing down, right??!!" Garuud yelled.

Arcturus and Ghost looked at each other. "Don't think we got much of a choice." Arcturus pulled out his shotgun and blasted a couple taken Psions in the head before they could divide again.

"Great! Now its a party!" Garuud yelled as they rushed through the Taken after the Shade. "Where did you go you squirrely mother! I have a question for you!" Garuud yelled after it.

"I'm not picking anything up on the short range radar but I am getting reports of something that looks a lot like the guy that we just met in the Mausoleum. And there are plenty of new Taken reports there too. Sooo, I'll just leave you guys to do your work and call me if you need anything." Ghost said as he blinked away. "Well now we know where we're going but I have no idea how this might go down. I mean other than shooting him of course." Arcturus said as he was running through corridors trying to get to where Ghost said the Shade was. Once they had managed to exit the ship and arrived at the Mausoleum Arcturus saw that there was not only Taken but a large swarm of Hive and a legion of Cabal fighting, trying to hold off the Cabal and the Hive and Taken trying to defend the Shade from rockets and gunfire.

"Whoa... that is a lot of baddies. The writers are going to have a field day with this one." Garuud said under his breath. " I have a idea!" Garuud said as he ran to a broken pillar and yelled at the top of his lungs. "Stooooooooooooopppppppp!" All of the cabal and hive stopped firing and the taken turned and started jittering in his direction. " Hammer time" Garuud said with a giant smile. * garuud activated hammer of sol and his gas tanks on his arms started hissing violently. He threw hammers into each giant group of enemies that he could see all the while singing the tune to hammer time.* Each enemy felled exploded and caused another to explode creating a another explosion. It was a massive chain reaction. When he was done there was a fraction of the enemies that there were and Garuud stood there for several moments as the holes in him from enemy fire closed up slowly the wires in his body could be seen clearly for that moment. "Ahhhhh! So satisfying your up buddy!"

As the fireworks show went on in front of him Arcturus run forward to a group of Cabal and activated his Stormtrance, vaporizing everything in the vicinity. "Here we go!" he shouted, Arc energy flowing through him. Huge Arc chains went from guy to guy killing them all and as he moved from group to group chaining even more kills he saw that the Shade was preparing to consume the light that Arcturus was expending to kill it's minions. "Focus fire on that thing!" Arcturus said jumping up onto a broken platform and electrifying him until he couldn't anymore. "You seem like the kind of guy who would like to punch this guy in the face. He's all yours."

"Bahahaha know me so well already!" Garuud said as he jumped up and literally punched it in the face..... which activated melting point. Right then he pulled out Sol Edge and began slashing as hard as he could dealing massive damage with each swing " I like to think of myself as a ninja turtle fan.. really a Raphael more than anything else. But most people put me as a Leonardo." The shade hits Garuud with a massive burst after his last swing. " I will not be labeled!" Garuud yells as he threw a fusion grenade onto its face just as the melting point ended. "bulls eye!"

Edited by Batman: 10/16/2015 3:11:59 AMThe Shade knocks Arcturus flat on his back and attacked. Thankfully, another Titan blocked it with a serrated cleaver. "Why don't ya stick to the shade, idiot?" He kicked the shade back and cut it down to bits. He helped up Arcturus. "You alright?" A dog came to the Titan's side. Wait, what was that smell? Chips, booze, gasoline, and cheap perfume. "Gar- Don't tell me that he's actually here..."

Garuud shows up and puts his arm around Axe shoulder. "Sup buddy! Welcome to the party! Needed a date pumpkin!" The shade showed up and yelled at him YOUR LIGHT WILL DIE. Garuud shot gunned it in the face " I am not going stag! Don't even suggest it!"

"Wasn't planning on it." Suddenly, a dog came flying out of nowhere and ripped the head off of the shadow of oryx. "Nice shot, Dew! Oh, did I steal your thunder?" Ax said, turning to the cabal. "Here, have some lightning instead!" He proceeded to pound them with a fist of havoc, bringing down a whole squadron.

"Oooooo pretty!" Garuud said right then a hive knight rushed up a chopped off Garuud right arm. Garuud looked at the stump and then at the arm on the ground and finally at the knight. " did you just cut off right?! Now what am I going to do Friday!? I had plans." Garuud grabbed his arm and started beating the knight to death with it. Once it was dead he put it up against the stump and it re-attached itself seamlessly.

"Ok, but how did that- never mind. We need to get out of here." Ax tried to clear a path with his rifle, but got nowhere. "It's no use... Any other bright ideas from the peanut gallery?"

Garuud pulls out a rocket launcher I have a few ideas * whispers to rocket* "time to open doors baby" he fires two rockets into the crowd "open sesame!"

'Shy?! I don't have a shy bone in my body!" Garuud ran to the exit following AXE.
