I've got a moment of triumph emblem, and entire collections of year one only items. I don't think I'm a year two player. I mean technically I am now because I am still here in year two but you know what I mean haha. I've been around since before HoW dropped.

This is reference to back when you could get Iron Banner gear at cap level. The problem Is that it didn't grant heavy ammo bonuses on the boots, and gauntlets didn't grant special weapon loaders. Then, finally, no raid perks. So yes, you could get to the light cap, but you didn't have the perks that helped make your light meaningful in the raids.
