[i]Xel and Jack continued on walking until they came across an abandoned building. As they entered, there lay a new set of elevator doors and a panel on the side. Xel inputs a code onto it and the doors open. Xel steps aside and gives jack a welcoming gesture. [/i]
X: After you.

[b]Xel enters shortly after Jack doesn't and the doors close. The elevator goes straight down at high speeds for about roughly 40 seconds. The doors open once again, to reveal a massive facility equipped with a large system of barracks, a medical station, a training room on the far end, and a general purpose laboratory. Inside the lab sits Adara monitoring the skies with an AA radar. [/b] X: Adara, I've found a guardian! A: Is he apt for the rescue? X: He said he punched Oryx in the face. A: Lies. I don't even understand how a guardian can even be in his presence. X: Trust me if he can we could do it better, if we had David arou- A: [b]Ahem.[/b] X: Oh bollocks I've gone off and ran my mouth again. Please forgive me Jack, I meant no harm with my words.

X: Right, so onto the debriefing. Adara? A: Down the hall to the left, you'll find the war room. Go to it, I'm fixing something here. [i]Adara gestures for Xel and Jack to go while she types in the computer. Xel and Jack go to the war room, which a large table stood, much like the vanguard table in the hall of guardians. [/i] X: Looks a lot like the one in the tower right?

"Yup." [i]He walks over to it and runs his hand over the surface[/i]

[i]Adara enters the room fully equipped in armor and weapons holstered. She dims the lights and a holographic map of the entire mal is shown on the table. [/i] A: Alright, this is the area. It's pretty high as you can see the cliff side by the southeastern side of the area. What little we have is that there is a cave system which serves as a base of operations for an unknown fallen house. These are the same I encountered on the day I lost David. We've found several openings to the cave system but never went in deep enough to get a good look. We enter here, on the north western side. It's surrounded by trees, that way we have a better chance of not being spotted. Once we're inside, we stick together. Any questions? X: What if we get separated? A: Do not break radio silence. We break radio silence unless we need immediate back up. Anything else? Jack?

"How do we know this isn't some big underground maze or a trap?"

A: That's exactly it. We don't know. X: I'm sure the cave system is a maze all on it's own, but I don't think the fallen would make a cave system, let alone have it for just a trap. A: Well, get ready. We have ammunition in the room next to this one. Feel free to grab as much ammo as you need. Xel and I will be outside. X: But I- A: [b]Outside, with me. Now.[/b] X: Alright, whatever you say. [i]Adara and Xel hastily go to the elevator. As the doors close, Xel yells at Jack. [/i] X: Don't break anything! [i]The doors close, and the elevator goes up to the surface. [/i]

[i]Jack goes under the table and starts carving under the table, he carves; "Jack wuz here" under the table and goes to the next room[/i]

[i]Xel and Adara wait outside, in yet another dangerous blizzard has struck the area. Both seemed unfazed by the elements, instead they grow worrysome of thier current mission, and another more personal issue. Instead of her usual cold-hearted demeanor around strangers, she's rather tender around Xel, or his real name, Xavier.[/i] A: ...please? X: It'd be a great idea, but I'm an exo. You're an awoken. A: It can happen. We can make anything happen. You remember our odds when we went up against Ta'aurc? X: That was an assassination of a military leader, it's child's play compared to [b]that.[/b] A: Hmph. We'll keep talking about this after we get David. We aren't finished. X: Oh dear...

[i]Jack walks out[/i] "Huh, snowball fight?"

A: No. X: We're about to engage in a skirmish with an unknown house in a blizzard, this isn't time for snowball fights.

Something caught Adara's eye, a shadow it looked like Lîthu-19 was hiding behind a building observing the fireteam, he wanted to avoid contact and get this mission done "I need to find another way around" he mumbled to himself
