In college. (English college starts at 16 here, I was around 17 at the time of this).
Friend: I don't know what Europe is.
Me: What do you mean? You don't know what countries are in it?
Friend: Um? What? I mean I get really confused about what Europe actually is.
Then I had to throughly explain the countries that are in Europe and the benefits of being in it. Face palm.
