That's funny, I see similarities between the bible and other religious texts such as the Koran and other even older civilisations such as the sumerians. The bible is not a unique text. It was copied and edited over centuries from older myths and legends then changed by a king in the middle ages to arrive at what we now have. It's not really, get over it. Never trust anyone who only has one book.
