Hunter-0 walks through a research station in the Ishtar Sink, dark-drinker ready. He has encountered no resistance. Odd for a golden age site. It's almost as if the vex are scared of the place.
"No resistance so far."
All he gets is static in response. He finds the room he is looking for. A locked blast-proof door labeled 0. He sends out his ghost to open it.
"[i]It won't accept me. It needs a scan of... no, that can't be right.[/i]"
"Ghost, who does it need."
"[u]You. You're eligible[/u]."
At this Hunter-0 is suspicious, but does the neural scan. The doors open to a 10' by 10' room, with a steel door at the opposite end. Hunter approaches the door, and opens it, walking into a more casual lab. On the table next to a PC is a sort of Android phone, still on the charger. Hunter starts flipping through the images. As he does so, a mix of feelings boil. He finally throws the phone against the wall.
The photos were of him as a human. Him and his ex-fiance.

"Oh, what's in here?"

"Lab equipment, notes." He seems solemn.

"Huh, mind if I take a look?"

"Go ahead. It's all useless weapons anyways."

Jack finds blueprints for Icebreakers, fusion rifles, and Super Good Advice. The most notable is tech similar to Vex.

"Wow..."

"It's all from the golden age. We- we tried to operate time travel."

"It didn't work. The explosion caught my left arm. She didn't die until..." He makes an inhaling noise. "Until the lab was attacked by a rival company.

"All of us Exos were human at one point." Hunter-0 slumps down against a wall, burying his face in his hands.

[i]Tell him the truth[/i] "Fine Ghost. Exos were used as servants. They then gained feelings and etc. They were never given it. However very few were given memories from a previous life. Fake ones or real ones from an actual human. I'm sorry to tell you this"

"THEY ARE REAL TO ME!" He screams, his Taken form fully showing. All of a sudden, the form fades, as he calms down. "I am the incarnation of Hunter as an Exo. My purpose is to retain memory of the Golden age and after."
