It's not a 10 year plan, it's a 10 year contract and I believe that 3 years of this contract is already up. Destiny may live for several more years but I don't think bungie planned to have 10 years of actual content.

Actually this is incorrect. Its a 10 year contract with a minimum of 8 years of Destiny content. Starting with the development of Destiny 1 and ending with the release of the Destiny 4 major expansion. Release schedule is 1 Destiny game every 2 years with 1 major expansion every 2 years. The idea here was to alternate and keep the series fresh. With a couple years under this contracts belt, the Destiny franchise will in fact take up the whole 10 years if not more. I wasn't sure if you had the link, so figured I'd leave it just in case. And true enough about googling it, but with all the window lickers here on the forums, you practically have to place things in front of them, explain it, show a video, explain it again step by step with very small words... then they get about 10% of what you actually said. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You realize this means there is no ten year in story plan, right? The contract with Activision proves there is indeed a '10 year real life plan'.
