Uhm, I actually found leveling up (buffing) of weapons to take a lot more time in TTK than in HoW. This is mainly because bounties no longer give the amount of exp as before. Try buffing a green weapon in the Primary slot it used to take one Eris Morn bounty or two Vanguards two level it all the way up. Now it will take almost a full day's of Vanguard bounties. Now granted, in TTK the primary weapon takes the most to buff, where the special slot is easier and the Heavy slot is easier still but in HoW all of slots buffed at the same rate, with the main difference being in time to buff different color weapons, where blues took twice as long as green, Legendaries twice as long as Blue and exotics took twice as long as Exotics, which is also still the case in TTK. Regardless of this fact though Bungie promised to respect our previous time investments and they kept telling us that want us to play this game the way we wanted. Well I have yet to find a weapon in TTK that is anywhere as enjoyable to use as my favorite weapons in Year 1. It is not like I have not tried or looked at most of them, their stats and their perks. The best so far is my Hung Jury and it is a lame imitation of my previous favorite scout rifles. What burns me the most is that what comes across from Bungie is an arrogant and condescending attitude that they know best, that we are like children that they must force to try new things, even if those things are things we don't like. I can not think of anything that is more disrespectful of people and what they desire than this.
