Swords were designed mainly for pve, but there is one pvp step. I agree on Chaperone and First Curse. The exotic sword should've been pve only based on your logic.

The crucible part was kinda annoying, only because there some matches where i could never get ammo for it lol

mayhem, heavy ammo drops all the time and it's a casual Playlist so not as frustrating

I tried it and didnt like it one bit. One match couldnt get close enough to use the sword lol

Same, it was worth the trouble though, but I mainly use it in pve.
