Warbuilt entered the bar, music already booming throughout the air of the large building.
"500 Glimmer, please." Says the attendant at the entrance he transfers the glimmer as he travels deeper into the building. He pushes his way through the crowd until coming upon the stairs downward. It's quieter down there easier to hear conversations. He scans the room. A profile comes up an a man in the back corner, drunk and old. His armor shows he is a guardian though, probably retired but still traveling out from time to time. He has reported Ahamkara multiple times to the Consensus, but they have ignored him every time. He walks up to the man,
"John Dalo, I presume?" He says while sitting down in front of him.
"Yeah, that's me. What do you want?" John says before taking swig.
"I want to ask you about the Ahamkara, have you seen one recently?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Because I'm going to kill one."
"Oh, really? Oh, well. Your at least trying to help. I haven't been in the field for a couple of weeks. A friend said saw one yesterday. He was on a mission and went to go and try to get closer to it, he told me this through a message. He hasn't talked since then."
"Thanks." Warbuilt gets up and heads to a different room where he relaxes for a bit, he had to get his glimmers-worth.

Edited by Zalamiir: 10/11/2015 5:41:44 AMTwo Guardians walked in and sat themselves at the bar; a Hunter and a Titan. As they sit down, the bartender immediately hands each of them drinks. "There's the usual fellas." The bartender said before walking off to catch up on more orders. "Thanks," said the Hunter. "Hey," said the Titan, "You remember seeing those twelve jumpships leaving the Tower yesterday?" "Yeah. Why?" "Have they come back?" The Hunter put his glass down after downing the drink in in one gulp. "Nope."

A female Hunter sits on a couch nearby the bar, her armor off, her weapons missing. The only things that show her of being a Guardian is the Cloak around her and the Ghost on her shoulder. In front of her lay a map of Jupiter, showing each location on the planet, but unlike other maps, this one has a section of the Ishtar that none other has. Obviously new to discovery and what not. She leans back into the couch. "Aprill?" She says to her Ghost. "Yes Alice?" Aprill asks. "Slowly, we have discovered this Volcano landscape, tracking the beasts further into it, yet we've never actually gotten close to one, being repelled by nature." "I know, I was with you." Alice looks at Aprill. "When do you think we will find the nest?" "With your determination, we will eventually." Aprill looks towards the door to see a Warlock enter. Alice notices as well, then goes back to studying the map.

Edited by Spyglass: 10/14/2015 6:36:09 PMGinger had long believed that to better defend the people, you must know who you were protecting... And visiting nightclubs like this provided him an excuse to drink. He was slim for a Titan, but compared to the crowd around him he possessed an incredible physique. He sat at a booth, observing the usual influx of Guardians when a hunter caught his eye. She was undeniably pretty, and at first glance he mistook her for a civilian, until he saw her ghost. He tracked her gaze (sadly, not directed at him) to a Warlock who had just entered, and his ghost intercepted a signal about... a hunt? That would certainly coincide with the Hunter's map. Perhaps something was up between the two... He had to make sure. He brushed his way through the crowd, careful not to hurt any civilians, and sat on the bench next to the Hunter. Trying to seem as casual as possible, to avoid attention, he spoke to her in a quiet voice "You wouldn't happen to know anything about the Ahamkara, would you?"
-
Alice looks at the newcomer under her hood, looking him up and down.
I'm just going to assume you have no armor on. Sorry if I'm wrong.
Slim, but well built. No outward signs of being a Guardian, but she knew that from the question he just asked, he had to be at least a scholar or archivist who heard about her explorations. She turns her head, a piece of long brown hair tumbling loose to rest next to her chin. "Depends," she says playfully. "who is it that wants to know?"
-
Yeah he's wearing Civilian clothing. You can imagine him wearing anything though.
Instantly his insides turned to jelly, realizing that the Guardian was flirting with him. Reflecting upon himself, he wasn't too bad looking, but there was never really time for girls when he was working for the Hidden... And now that came to bite him in the ass. His sub-conscious mind began edging him on Hey, wake up buddy. She's flirting with you. Say something smooth and screw the mission. No, the mission is more important than your baser instincts. Anyways, there's time for picking up girls on the mission. Is there? Well, forget about sounding smooth. Tell her about he message. Ginger inwardly sighed, and pointed over to a Warlock across the room. The Guardian had pulled out his ghost, and was looking at a map of Venus. "That guy. Warbuilt, an Exo Guardian fascinated with the Ahamkara. He believes that they could unlock new powers for a Guardian, as they did the Hive. My ghost just intercepted a message from Commander Zavala directed towards him." Ginger's ghost appears, and immediately begins replaying the message:
"Guardian, this is Commander Zavala. Ikora just briefed me on your, 'hunt.' I need you to report to me as soon as you can. This concerns your interests. Zavala out."
His sub-conscious still wasn't satisfied, and he felt that he needed to add "Oh, and I'm Ginger, by the way." Smooth...

Edited by MegaBeast42: 10/14/2015 10:52:40 PMDamn, Alice thinks. he's a Guardian. All work and no play. Alice sighs. "Yes, I do know about Ahamkara's. I also know where they live." She rolls up the map then tucks it into a small tube. Then she looks up at Ginger and gives a white teeth smile. "Name's Alice. How can I help you?"
-
Edited by Spyglass: 10/15/2015 1:48:20 AMDamn, she must think I'm a massive ass-wipe... You know what, screw the mission for now. I have something else that I have to do. "Actually, you can." Ginger pulls a shiny blue cube out of his pocket, instantly identifiable as glimmer. "I have 500 spare glimmer, and nothing to spend it on. Anything you'd like to drink?" Hella smooth... And original. Really, you need to work on flirty talk.
-
Alice raises an eyebrow, then looks at the glimmer. "You keep it. If you only have 500 spare, then you need all that you can get." Alice says cheekily with a smile. "I'll get the drinks. You know, with my spare 10,000." Then Alice gets up and goes to the bar to get a drink for her and him. When she gets there, she looks back at him. Cute, I kinda like that. She thinks, before turning back to the bar keeper.

Edited by Spyglass: 10/16/2015 2:44:41 AM... Incredible. Well, somehow, you managed to -blam!- that up. With a sigh, Ginger turns around and gets up to join Alice. He saw her looking at him, but his mind was elsewhere. Rumor has it that there was another Ahamkara sighting in Venus, in a volcanic region, to boot. Was that what the Warlock had been observing on his map? Or was he making lions out of sheep? When he reached the table, he blushed a little as he sat himself on a stool near the Hunter. It was a little unseemly (if not convenient) that she was paying for his drink, but at least it meant that she liked something about him. He turned to face her. "A nightclub's an odd place to read maps. What brings you here?"
-
"Can't a girl let her hair down for a bit without a reason of want or why?" Alice says with a wicked smile. The bar tender comes around with their drinks. Alice has a clear liquid in her glass, and she takes it down to a half before continuing. "Do you always come to bars asking women if they have a dragon hidden beneath their folds?" Gotcha. Alice thinks, still with that mischievous smile on her face.
-
Huh... Ouch. I think she's doing this on purpose... Almost at a loss for words, Ginger attempts keeps a cool composure. "I usually like to find out what they keep under there when I leave the bar." I suppose that's how you get out of check He picks up a glass and downs it in almost a single gulp. Clearly he's no rookie when it comes to drinking... Though he probably is a rookie in talking to women. Occasionally, he seems distracted, as if he's listening to someone else at the same time.
-
Alice laughs. "So that's all you came here for? A chance to see the 'hidden' prize?" Alice says with a wink, emphasizing the second last word. Alice takes a sip of her drink. He has got charisma, I'll give him that.
-
He leans back, feigning insult as he takes a sip from the glass. "Oh, so a man can't let his hair down without a reason for where or why? Well, I'm an asset of the Hidden. Finding hidden things is my job." Noice.
-
"You're a hidden, huh?" Alice says, turning her head to look at him. "Aren't you supposed to, y'know, keep that little secret, 'hidden'?"
-
He laughs, and says "Oh, I have other little secrets that I'm keeping hidden..." He suddenly stops laughing, and quickly backtracks, clearly embarrassed. "Oh.. I d-didn't mean it like that... That wasn't a reference... I've had a little too much to drink. Well, I'm not actually a member of the Hidden, merely an asset. A means to an end. You can know who I am, just not who I serve."
-
Alice chuckles. "Yeah, you have." Then Alice holds up her glass, still with some liquid left in it. "That's why you should learn to drink water." She finishes the rest of her water, then looks over her shoulder at the departing warlock. "I got to go, see ya round, okay cutie?" She winks at Ginger, then departs from the bar.
-
... Oh... In his flustered state, Ginger barely manages to squeak out a "Bye." before she leaves. He finishes his glass, takes a look over his shoulder at her as she exits the bar after the Warlock, and turns back to the bartender frame. "Another please. Just wanna make sure that I'm still awake."
End?
-
End. I think we should probably go to the new thread by now.

Look down below, we have already continued it further than us.
The daily influx of guardians had begun as more guardians entered the building. Warbuilt sat down at a table as phantom appeared in front of him. "Show me the map of Venus." Phantom started to project a 3D map of Venus onto the table. "Show me the Ishtar Sink and surrounding areas." The map zoomed into the said locations. "Where would the closest large caves be? Any place with many caves in the area?" "No, although it gets pretty mountainous on the North East side. No guardians have mapped out the area so there might be caves for them there." "Any Vex or Fallen around the area?" "Only reports of small patrols of fallen, the vex haven't touched the area." "Seems good, save coordinates for the base of the closest mountain."

Edited by Zalamiir: 10/11/2015 6:27:38 AMA transmission sounds for Warbuilt. "Guardian, this is Commander Zavala. Ikora just briefed me on your, 'hunt.' I need you to report to me as soon as you can. This concerns your interests. Zavala out." With that, the signal is cut off.
This is short, I know
-
Alice overhears the Transmission, and looks up at the warlock. Something about Ikora and a Hunt? She thinks to herself. How interesting. Alice picks up the Map on the table in front of her, then stands up, exiting the bar to go to the Vanguard section and blend in to hear this new information. "Aprill, prepare my gear please." "Right away." Then she disappears to Alice's ship to prepare the gear.
-
"Damnit, they just needed to know, they didn't need to get involved." Warbuilt gets up and pushes his way out of the building. He gets to his ship, gets in, and flies back to the tower. "What about John's friend?" Phantom questioned. He hadn't really used the information. "Well, if we're right, and there are caves full of Ahamkara up there, he'll be there." The ship lands in the hangar but not before they transmat onto the court yard. He heads down to ,?the vanguard waiting for, 'You're going to need a team...' 'It's too dangerous...' Etc.

Edited by Zalamiir: 10/11/2015 5:17:11 PMZavala looked up to see the Warlock he requested to see. "Warlock, as you already know, Ikora briefed me on this mission of yours. I was going to deny lifting you above the laws with the Ahamkara, until news reached me." "As of fifteen-hundred hours yesterday, two fireteams of six were dispatched to Venus to check up on an outpost set-up near the volcanic region of the Ishtar Sink that went silent. We haven't heard from them since. Until now." He reached over and pressed a button, replaying an audio transmission. "This is Ryan Vulcan of fireteam Comet, we've arrived on Venus at the outpost with fire Cobalt. Entire outpost has been wiped out. "Man there's a lot of bodies here, what the heck happened here? Said someone in the background. "Dunno, this place is giving me the creeps though." "Wait!" Someone said in a hushed voice. There was a long moment of silence. Then what sounded like a deep growl filled the audio. "What is-" A loud roar filled the audio. "Contact!" Gunfire sounded, along with the shouts and orders of the two fireteams. It went on like this for five minutes until everything went silent." Zavala pressed the button again. "That was the last we heard from the two fireteams. I've lifted the Ahamkara laws for the next twenty-four hours. The only reason I do this is because recently, there has actually been an Ahamkara sighting."
