Under the ice, snow, and sleet of old Europa, an ancient evil now stirs. More ancient then the Sol Prodigy. The Luna Defensive. Crota, the Light Eater, thought he could form an alliance with the Vex. He failed. But the Hive didn't. Oryx, the Taken King, took them, but didn't take their will. He formed an alliance. So old, other Hive sects and Vex sectors, forgot. But the Luna Defensive did not, for they still still remember the Taken King. They sent an organism to Mars. The Vex there thought of it as mysterious. So they thought, the best way to not risk annihilation, was to praise it. They dubbed it, "The Gardens Heart", for they were in a greenish blue cave, undiscovered by Golden Age archeologists. They thought that the Vex would be the end of the light. By shrouding its "Traveler" of its light, unknowing of its true ruler. The Guardians, the mercenaries of the light, destroyed this "Heart" before the Vex could finish their masters plan. But that didn't stop the Taken King. Crota, before the destruction of the "Heart", his sect stole a shard of the Traveler in an ancient Ritual to drain it of it's light. Over time they would take more shards, eventually, killing the light. But again, the Guardians, released it, back to the light's warm grasp. Two attempts of sinking the light, failed, both by Guardians. But know, with the death, of the Taken King, the Luna Defensive, knows not what to do. Now they plot, for revenge of the Taken King. For the Guardians know not if the Hives true motive. All they wanted, was a new start, a new beginning. A new... Big Bang. But, again, the Guardians, the Traveler, and the Light, do not know. For they will not stop, will not rest, until they end all true darkness, craft alliances with everything they can. The Luna Defensive, now plot. Their plan? To take back the Taken King. To revise the Taken King, make him stronger. Oryx new all along. That's why he created the "Heart", the Vex, and most of all, the Moon Europa. From the birth of the King, he new his destiny. He new his own demise, just like the Vex predicted they're end. But the Traveler? Not a part of the plan. That's why the true darkness's plans have been halted. But not for long.
