bungie doesnt want to keep making gjallarhorn simulator 2.0 They said this many many many times. leave your year 1 toys in the kindergarten bin and join us all in the next year bro. put the fatebringer safety blanket back in the baby crib. There are perks on the old raid gear that might or might not be advantageous in Y2 if it could come up to level via infusion. Want an example? even one so simple as heavy ammo. Bungie is trying to change the entire economy within the game here. So they made sure no legendary raid gear drops with "Extra Heavy Ammo" that's not a thing anymore. go check if you want to. meanwhile, every single Y1 boots worth a damn had Extra Heavy Ammo. This would be game breaking on the Y2 economy.

  • Is there even any y2 exotic armor that grants extra heavy ammo universally? Maybe alchemist raiment

  • I heard legendary and exotic chest pieces can roll with it. Maybe exotic boots but I haven't seen any.

  • The raid gear and any other gear can have extra rocket ammo or extra lmg ammo... ie, extra heavy

  • Nope. Extra heavy is universal. You can only get one or the other. And without extra heavy ammo, you will never have 9 shots in the sleeper Simulant.

  • Yeah, either extra rockets or lmg, both of which are heavy. And if you have extra fusion rifle ammo, it'll affect the sleeper. Check your facts before you try and educate people.

  • Actually, you master scrublord. Fusion rifle ammo does not affect sleeper Simulant. And obviously if bungie is now making you choose EITHER lmg or rockets, then that is the change to the economy. So now that you now the truth, can I ask you something? Does it physically hurt you to be so stupid? Your stupidity is killing me

  • I'm assuming you didn't read the last post. I don't care about any of the other year one items like weapons or armor. I don't use them anymore. I'm talking purely class items. I agree with you and Bungie on leaving year one. Class items from year one offer no perks or anything special. Keeping those and those alone would break nothing in-game.

  • There was at one point, but those got buried by the Sleeper Simulant posts and such. Anyway, I just don't like too many of the new class items other than the Flayer cloaks. Class items are fine the way they are, there just aren't many good options anymore.

  • Before ttk, you never had options. You wore your faction mark. Now you can do whatever you want. I think every single strike has a class item now. And each one now has utility in increased weapon xp gains like a telemetry. What are you even thinking at this point with your logic? I can now wear any mark I want

  • My logic? All I'm saying is that it would've been nice if Bungie left class items the way they were, and you keep adding to it. It wasn't even about class items to begin with. You're obviously trying to start an argument, so at this point there is no reason for me to respond any further.

  • I still dont understand. y1 had the least amount of class items you could wear. one from the vault, one from crotas end, a handfull from the house of wolves dlc, and none of them even looked good in my humble opinion which anyone I ever met in destiny seems to agree with... now there are soooo many of different shapes and sizes and colors... which one do you want from Y1 that you cant infuse now? IF I could have any, it would be my original first Iron Banner marks, or maybe my House of Wolves era dead orbit marks. I got the cloke of taniks a little while ago, and I could not be more happy that it rolled with good perks as well as looking bad ass
