What's the best way to begin gaining faction rep? I never really got into factions until more recently, and I'm only level 3 on my Titan, but I want that exotic NM class item so bad!

Donations, as well as Crucible with our Basic Mark equipped. Otherwise, anything you do to help our cause will cause an increase in your reputation gains.

I've been donating anything I can spare. I wanted to buy the mark, but I had to purchase a new ghost from the vanguard in interest of light level. Saving vanguard marks to buy the mark as soon as possible. Too bad we can't use our old marks to get rep.

Your old marks should have been exchanged for commendations, which would be exchanged for Reputation with whoever you are currently aligned.

I used those, I mean our old class items. I should have said that instead of marks.

Keep them. They help you with the Exotic Quest.

Do they? That's good to hear, but I'm most likely going to buy the class item from you anyways. The extra rep will definitely help. Does it affect donations too?

The ordinary item only effects Crucible. Our Exotic Item effects all gains.

It doesn't affect vanguard related rep?
