After a couple weeks, my parents noticed my homework was never getting done, mostly due to depression from leaving all my friends. After that, they insisted I stayed behind in school to get my homework done. So I did, and it was the best thing that has happened in my life. I saw my friend Earl by one of the rooms in the tech hall while waiting for the homework bus to pick me up. I walked over to him to discover a robot about my height shooting basketballs. I asked him what it was all about and he said robotics. He introduced me to my now 4 year boyfriend named Connor and my passion for engineering. If I hadn't met him, talked to him, pushed myself to go the extra mile and ask him out... I wouldn't be as happy as I am today. I wish you all the best.
