I'm aware of this but there are many people who shotgun now without the blink and they're successful. Plus if the op would just use increased control on the Titan instead of anything else and rapidly spam the jump button as he goes forward then his speed would greatly increase. Everyone knows the manipulation of the Titan jump by now. It's so great you could even completely lower your Titans agility and still move around the map faster then you did just by sprinting.

But in tighter maps, it's harder to make use of the Titan skate and so in a stand off kind of situation, someone like a Bladedancer will likely have the advantage with higher agility, blink and the ability to opt for greater slide distance But yeah, the blink nerf means it's a lot more of a level playing field when it comes to shotguns and positioning

Tighter maps make it easier to use shotguns thats why people exclusively were using shotguns on maps like Anamoly and adrift.
