If you prioritise video games at the same level as food, water and shelter you should probably get your priorities sorted. I love video games, I never want them to die. And for video games to not die, they need to be profitable, which means we have to pay for them. And if we want a game to last ten years, we need to pay for it, for ten years.

You do not know for a fact that I've been misled. Microtransactions and DLC are how the electronic entertainment industry is evolving. It has proven to be an effective business model. You don't have to agree with it, but you can't dismiss it as being backwards, when it is in fact the exact opposite
