Seriously if GTA can get by without this crap Destiny has no excuses period. People just keep deluding themselves into being okay with this for various reasons none of them particularly good ones. Micro transactions always start small and lead to more especially with Activision at the helm like seriously people are giving the greediest gaming company on Earth the benefit of the doubt over this and it's truly mind boggling. Activision would include a credit card reader with each retail copy and charge you a dollar every time you decided to boot up their games if they could get away with it and I'm not joking. Bobby Kotick the CEO of Activision has tried on many occasions to get retail games bumped up to $70 with no luck the past few years so they do this kind of crap and other well known crap like using Snoop Doggs voice in COD. We'll soon have our ghosts voiced by Snoop and Dre just wait and see.

Gta does it well. You can access everything without paying extra. And they get free updates all the time.
