I'm a part of the Xbox One Preview Program, and just received the prompt to update my console. It downloaded, and reached about halfway of the installation process when I received the E200 error code. I restarted my console and it is continuing to install the update...
Does anyone know what this error code is or what it may mean? From what Google said it's basically like RRoD, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .

Congratulations! Your Xbox one console is now a brick!

I had the same thing happen. First it kicked me out of my game and said it wouldn't download and then it wouldn't work at all so I had to hard reset it. But it's downloading right now so it's all good.

Some scary stuff right there....I'm kinda considering opting outa the preview program. My first xbox crapped out on me. It was a bad egg outa the lot. My year warranty is already up...so Idk..maybe a precaution wouldn't be so bad. There's lots providing good feedback already. Is it possible to get a error or glitch that could actually ruin your xbox? Imagine something like this happening when your favorite game just released. Maybe I'm way over thinking it lol

Edited by Ops R4ng3r: 10/7/2015 5:07:39 AMHaving an error while installing is a possible known problem with downloading the new UI. Read everything very throughly when you're working with things in Beta. If the Installation finishes you should be fine and the data will have been logged and sent to Microsoft. If not you'll have to go onto the Early Access forum from Microsoft and see what help you can get from Preview Program moderators and programmers.

Don't worry about it as long as the update continues to download you will be fine. There are a few little glitches I have reported.

What's this preview program? Is it for 360 guys? I haven't heard of it so sorry if I'm a little late

Don't know but I too just got the update and now my console refuses to detect my wireless connection in the house, or my external hard drive. What the absolute fu-ck is this?
