I've never been a purist, but something about mixing wolves, those epically wild spirits, with [i]dogs[/i], who have been corrupted by centuries of domestication, seems wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I love my husky, but it's not just wolves that I love... it's what their forms represent.

I see what you're saying. It's just how life is. A tiger and a lion mated without human interaction. Seems natural.
