Gta adds a lot of content into the game first and then allows you to buy it. The way they do it is kind of ingenious and one of the only times micro transactions kind of works. But it only works because they add the content before asking for money and everything is still available in the game with out paying any more money.

And that's what Destiny is going to become. Gta had to start some where so they are starting now with Destiny

No it's not quiet the same. There is no grantee that any of us are getting extra content. And even if there was I'd still wanna know what it was. And it still wouldn't justify the micro transaction scheme where the make all their money with no actual content being added to the game first.

They hope that enough people buy emotes so the next few dlc will be free
