I certainly hope you don't own any Call of Duty games, the later versions of the games all have micro-transactions. Rendering you point invalid.

  • First of all when I buy a game it's not up to me whether they decide to though micro transactions in after launch so what kind of statement is that? Secondly I've cleared this up in a different comment so if your interested go find it.

  • The point is, you are a modern gamer, yes?! Than you have to room to complain about micro-transactions. You want developers to continue to make games, well... That takes money, and where do you think that money come from, thin air?! Nope... Consumers like you and me and if you don't like this model of business, may I suggest that you might pick up chess. Living games require capital to live and grow. We get it, you no longer like Bungie. Fine pack up and move on, you and people like you are doing far more damage to the game industry than you are helping and you refuse to acknowledge that fact and love to point out how its the Dev's fault and not yours for an uninformed consumer.

  • You no nothing about how money is handled during the development of a game. You hate video games and you want them to die.

  • Really?! And where does your wealth of experience on the matter come from. Clearly I get the impression that you would prefer that all games should cost $5-10 and everything in said game should come unlocked, leaving an hour or so of game play... yes?! Or should games just be free to appease people like you? It's clearly shown that you are a big part of the problem, you want huge and beautiful games but, don't want to wait and pay for them. Updates and additional content cost money, coders and software engineers do not work for free nor do graphic designers. You don't feel that you should have to pay for games, then by all means... Stop buying them.

No I expect to games to be as expensive as possible. I'd prefer it actually. I want the games to be expensive and I want people to complain about them constantly. I want the consumer to push for a better product and I want the Devs to ask for more money. The harder we push for a better game and the harder it is to make good games the better. The only way to get better games to challenge Devs. Giving them all your money and taking what ever the gracefully share with you isn't going to take the industry anywhere.
