What about BF4 and GTA V? Both great games, and micro transactions never ruined those.

It's the acceptance of micro transactions that will destroy video games.

Well, since both of those offer free DLC and content releases, I think they can be a good thing if used the right way.

No man your not getting it. This is the devolution of video games. The only way it can work to our benefit is if they make the content first based on the quality of what we expect. If they couldn't deliver what we expected at lunch why should we blindly support the idea of giving them money under the notion that they will give us cool stuff later. Especially under these circumstances where there is no clear idea of what they are going to offer.
